Blue days come every month, and since they're the days of your period when you're already prone to feeling blocked, we don't want you to give up on feeling comfortable.
Angelite was born from this idea.
So that women can live freely and comfortably without worrying about their periods.
Since graduating from a vocational school, I have worked as a designer both in Japan and overseas for around 53 years.
I have always had heavy bleeding, from my student days, working life, and while raising children and doing housework, so I have suffered from menstrual leakage for most of my life.
One day, on my way home from work, I found that my bottoms were covered in menstrual blood, even though I wasn't on my period.
I noticed that I had picked up menstrual leakage from the person sitting in front of me on the train, and it made me realise that there were other people out there who were suffering from this problem.
I wanted to solve the problems I face, and those of the women around me, so after extensive research, I launched Angelite in 2008.
Angelite is a combination of the words "Angele" and "light," and expresses the hope that women will be able to live freely and comfortably during their period without worrying about their period.
We hope that Angelite will inspire a more positive outlook on life, from elementary and junior high school students who are still getting used to menstruation, to those who want to enjoy their work and hobbies to the fullest, to parents who haven't had the chance to talk to their daughters about menstruation.
Due to changes in the environment and lifestyle compared to the past, it is said that modern women will experience approximately 450 periods in their lifetime. We hope that you will feel a sense of relief from the anxiety of leaks and stuffiness during those depressing days that inevitably come every month.
Menstruation is an inevitable part of women's lives, and I hope that Angelite will reach many women so that they can continue to cope with it better.

Profile
After graduating from a fashion college, he worked as a pattern maker and then as a designer in the development department.
After retiring, she studied under Paris-based designer Takao Ikeda and worked energetically, launching new brands. She then became a design creative manager at an overseas company. After returning to Japan, she was appointed general director at a domestic apparel company, and has been active both domestically and internationally. In recent years, she has devoted herself to researching materials related to femtech, and obtained Japanese and international patents between 2012 and 2015. With Angelite, she is devoted to solving the worries and problems faced by women all over the world.
